About the game:
You wake up in a place where time doesn't pass.
The sky never changes. The world shifts in whispers. And five strange girls are waiting for you.
Each one is vivid, unforgettable, and deeply human.
Each one carries a piece of something you’ve forgotten.
As you walk through dreamlike worlds and share intimate moments with them, a truth begins to unravel:
They aren’t strangers. They’re something much closer.
And this place is not what it seems.
This is not a story of saving the world.
It’s a story about learning to live with every part of yourself—even the parts that hurt.
Will you stay in this purgatorial comfort? Or will you find your way out, blood and nail?

I liked your game, the characters and content were relatable. That feeling of being faded, not fully human, because you don't have people you feel a connection with is very real and prevalent today. It's kinda brilliant that you have the MC commit suicide in part, according to his own internal monologue, because he hasn't accomplished anything worthwhile by 25. I say brilliant because that's obviously not the real reason, because he regains his motivation to live in spades after dicking around in an amusement park with a bubbly girl. Accomplishing or not accomplishing anything was never the problem, and was only an illusory barrier or hurdle he thought the had to overcome before deserving to feel okay being human.
I see you're planning a part 2, that's good. I hope Summer is okay. She is really sweet and adorable. It makes more logical sense if she was always just a personified aspect of the protagonist's psyche, and so not a real person and capable of living outside of his dream, but I still want her to be having fun with him forever, even through whatever hardship is still in store for MC as he heals.
Thank you for the feedback, I appreciate it! And I appreciate more that you get the message and the story I am trying to tell. As much as I want to say more about Summer, I think it would be a spoiler, but don't worry, I am working on Chapter 2 now and hopefully be released soon. Thank you very much once again!
Pros ( As of Chapter 1 End )
-Very nice art, big fan of the style.
- Didn't notice any grammar issues, which is a nice plus in a VN.
- Called me out in approximately 30 seconds ( I enjoyed this, it really hit home.)
Cons (As of Chapter 1 End)
-Felt like the transition between rides could be smoother, as in some written in guidance or something.
- I think the coin amount per ticket could've been reduced. Digging 10 out for a couple of the rides really felt like it broke the flow of the story.
- One of the options at the end of the chapter made absolutely no sense, but that might just be my miniscule brain.
Honorable Mention-
Trashcan Frog.
TL;DR- unique art, decent writing, could use some TLC in places. I will watch this project with great interest.
Yey, someone commented! Haha.
At the first iteration of CH1, ticket costed 3 coins per. I made it 5 after adding the gambling mechanic because I thought it would take the player a couple of minutes to get all the ticket and coins needed. I guess I was wrong! lol.
Anyway I will change that right now. I also understand that guidance between rides is sorely needed, I noticed this on betatest but I didn't really pay it much mind.
The option at the end of the chapter honestly it was a last minute type thing. I guess it's true that rushing things really brings out the worst of a work lol.
Thank you very much for this valuable input, I appreciate it! I am very happy with this. Currently working on these changes now! (actually maybe later, it's so hot in my room)
Cheers, from Frog in Can!
I'm ngl, I clicked the casino once, it said maybe later and I promptly pretty much forgot it existed. The coin requirement was just high enough to interrupt flow but not high enough I ever felt the need to gamble, considering the potential to lose and thus spend more time coin grinding. Maybe consider some sort of item or reward in the gamble hall, maybe that changes things later, rather than just "maybe make grind less, maybe make grind more." Would also give more of a purpose to the coins, rather than just to slow down the story. Just the ramblings of a random internet man, no need to take it as gold.
Ah thanks for that. I'll try to make more prompts or anything to tell the player "hey, there's a casino over there remember?" lo
Guys... I would be lying if I said I didn't keep an eye in the comment section lol. PLEEEASE TALK TO ME HUHUUH HAHAH
